Holy sh*t. What happened this past year??

Like genuinely, what the f* happened. (Please read the full swear word in your head when reading this, for emphasis. We all know what I mean, but on the off chance that I happen to piss someone off with my sailor mouth, I’ll probably continue asterisk-ing).
I think I fully thought I was giving up on blogging/vlogging/podcasts/social media in general, this past year. But here we are a year later and what feels like 50 years wiser.
I think it’s too early to do a 2023 wrap up, especially considering y’all actually have no idea what’s happened in the past year. So we’ll start first with a few highlighted items, and then we’ll come back later and go a little more in depth. Along with the new year’s resolution shenanigans.
*This is me publicly committing to actually keeping up on here*
“Welp, that happened” moments:
Letty nose-diving off the paddle board
Getting T-boned
Missing more workouts than I’d like to admit
Celiac = No more gluten…
Lawnmower handles are more fragile than you’d believe
Caught my nipple ring on the barbell during a squat clean... yeah...
Hard Lessons:
Blood doesn’t mean family
At the end of the day, nothing you do or don’t do will make someone stay if they’re not meant to be permanent in your story. Sometimes we use “Forever” when we should have used “For Now”
The subconscious mind is responsible for much of our physical world
The toughest pills to swallow are the ones that will change you the most
Once you develop a certain degree of self awareness, there’s no going back– to people, patterns, places–anything.
The stone can’t be taken back once it’s thrown.
Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries

Dealing with death doesn’t get any easier the more you do it
The most beautiful gift that someone can give is the freedom to exist as oneself, without any expectations or ulterior motives
The eyes are the window to the soul and music is a complete love language
The only competition to be in is the one that raises everyone else up with you
Being lonely and being alone are two completely different things.
The most important relationship in your life is the one you build with yourself
Peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes don’t actually grow that well in pots
